Waiting 7 years for a custom plush is insane. Irritated, need to vent.
In November 2018 I paid close to $500 for a custom plush of a character I was obsessed with (don't judge me).
It was a long waiting list, but surely someone would stop taking orders if they couldn't fulfill them in a timely manner.
Very little communication/updates over the years as I moved up in line.
Mid 2024 I said to give it to somebody else, I didn't want it and had negative associations with the character.
I was beyond frustrated with this whole thing and wanted to drop it. Didn't care about the money.
She offered to make me something else, so fine. I requested something simple.
"Okay sure, I'll have it to you by February at the latest."
It's now end of June and it's finally getting shipped last week.
Never ever again would I do business with this person or recommend to anyone else, regardless of the product quality.
